Meet Zoe

Hi, I'm Zoe, the founder of Lerhuset Ofelia.

Ever since I was a child, I've loved creating. Art, painting, pottery and working with my hands have always been where I feel most at home. Looking back, I think that's also what drew me to physics, the idea that logic and beauty could exist side by side, helping us understand the world, even if only a little.
That curiosity led me to earn a degree in Nuclear Engineering and build a career within the pharmaceutical industry.
Most recently, I worked at Novo Nordisk until a large round of layoffs changed everything. For the first time, instead of searching for another corporate position, I chose to listen to my heart. 

That decision became Lerhuset Ofelia.

For me, this studio is much more than a business. It is a place of creativity, calm and connection; a place where I can create with my hands instead of spending my days behind a computer screen. Working with clay reminds me to slow down, embrace imperfections and find joy in the process as much as the finished piece.

My dream is to share that feeling with others. Every mug, bowl and sculpture tells a story, and so does every person who walks through the studio door. Whether you're joining your very first Clay Experience, becoming a member, or simply stopping by to explore our handmade ceramics, I hope you'll feel inspired, welcomed and at home.
